GETTING THERE IS HALF THE FUN!

"My friend has come from across the sea, and together we have traveled from a land of many waters through a dry and parched country to be with you!"

Well, that would about sum it up.  As it is, I enjoy traveling.  Peter came in on Thursday night and we all had dinner as a family, and then we spent some time in the garage filling the backstrap of his Glock with epoxy.

I had to work on Friday, but as soon as I got home, we loaded the car, said goodbye to Andrea and the kids, and got onto the open road.

We stopped between Shreveport and Dallas for a few hours snooze, but by the time we thought to get the camera out, we were in Amarillo at a rest stop.  Time does fly by when you're on the road...of course some scenery is better than others...

Peter and I get along like a train wreck which, given our natures, is a good thing.

The great part about taking pictures is that you can put the embarrassing ones up on a website later.
