ASLET 2006
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2006
We awoke early and wandered over to the Convention Center.
The place was constantly crawling with cops.
Oh... Wait...
The bulletin board grows...
We find some more art.
Then it was time to
go to class. I took Ethical Decision Making for Use-of-Force
Instructors, and then
Coping with Concealed Carry, which is a class that every officer
should be required to take.
It was very relevant and well thought out. After lunch I took
Characteristics of the Armed Individual, which
was put on by a Secret Service agent who really put a few things together
for me. Due to the nature of
the material, I'm not going to post any of the pictures I took in his class.
After that, it was time for Survival Vision, which was very
educational. If you missed it, there's a rumor going around that it
will be
offered again in Orlando...
