EARLY BIRDS GET TO WORK

We wandered our way into the staff meeting (figuring that would be more exciting than the board meeting) and were quickly put to work stuffing bags.  These are the bags that every conference attendee gets, all full of all sorts of goodies.

Once we were dismissed, Peter and I wandered over to the board meeting to see if we could find out the State of the Union so to speak.  Unfortunately, the board was in executive session.  I had come prepared for that, though, and took a long listen through the wall.  Shocking things were heard.  Just shocking.  They were ordering lunch, and the deliberations over the pizza toppings were long and heated.

Rather than do anything important, Peter and I took a driving tour of Albuquerque for the rest of the evening, kind of the long way around.  Don't listen to him if he tells you I was lost.  He lies.
