BOB'S HIKING JOURNAL

Bob called me today on his cell phone. He was nearly to Warren's
school. He met with Mr. B for about eight hours yesterday. Mr. B has
thruhiked four times, and his first time was at age 75. Mr. B has agreed
to take him on three section hikes of ten days each starting in September.
Maine in September, New Hampshire in October, and Tennessee in November.
This is better than I could have prayed for - an experienced hiker willing
to have him along on the actual terrain he will be hiking for his thru.
Adding Mr. B's contribution to the help we've gotten from everyone else
is making this much easier than it could have been.
