was instrumental in creating the GPS sytem. They have an

FUN STUFF
- If you want to practice using your GPS unit, or just want something
to hunt for, you can look for Geodedic Survey Markers. In the
USA, you can find listings here: National
Geodetic Survey Markers Data Sheets. If you need an

- www.confluence.org A project
to photograph all the locations of confluence where lat/long lines
meet.
- www.geocaching.com is a fun
way to learn how to use your GPS. You can find hidden
'treasure'.
