HURRICANE KATRINA

In the middle of picking up the shattered pieces of our scattered lives in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Andrea organized with a bunch of the other parents to throw a Halloween Party for the kids at our house. It was quite a spread since everyone contributed, and we grilled burgers to boot.  Click here for pictures.

The Cabildo is open again.  That's the Louisiana Museum, for you Yankees.

All the malls in East Jefferson are open again, and business is booming.

IF the politicians don't kill it, the place might prosper...
