HURRICANE KATRINA

Just another day in paradise. I went to work on time today for the first time since the storm. There still isn't any internet service, and that means no email at work. Not that I use email all that much at work, but having the internet is a way to stay connected to the world...

I just saw a commercial for www.americaswetland.com that featured Mr. Bill. The commercial talked about how if water comes over the levee it could fill them, and then it showed Mr. Bill on the roof of his house trying to escape the flood water. Then an alligator came along and at him.
Given that alligators were eating people off their roofs in New Orleans, I think that's in rather bad taste. Funny as hell, but in really bad taste...

Billy came over tonight so he could email some pictures to his insurance agent. Pictures like these:
A vent in the living room. The ceiling tiles have fallen away.
The ceiling in his bedroom.
